Amazing spot. You drop into a canyon and arrive at a private bed and breakfast where there are lots of pretty greenery and fields for your pets to roam. Rooms were clean and treats were provided. Very much an oasis and great place to escape to.

The cabin is very cute, clean, and decorated well. It has a private hot tub which would be nice in cooler weather. The bed was comfortable. It's located outside of the city, and our cell service was very sketchy there. They had communicated before we got there that there is not a lot of food options there. One tiny outside hamburger joint down the road. However, we ran into several issues. 1. Lack of communication from the management during our stay. They DID respond when I emailed about dinner options and when we could not initially find the cabin. I was getting poor cell service out there, but their text finally came through, and we were able to find the cabin from the picture that was sent. (The sign was not visible from the parking lot for that cabin) When we got inside, we had an issue with the tv and could not figure out the remotes. The tv was on music when we arrived. When we started to change the channels, it started showing no signal. None of the regular inputs for signals seemed to be working. (We have had Direct TV before, and we and stream all the time at home. We do not generally have issues with these types of things.) After trying for some time to figure it out, we

We had an amazing and restful time. The cabin was adorable and very comfortable. The Mesquite cabin has a super private back porch with a hot tub. We ordered dinner in our cabin, which was wonderful, and the breakfast was even better! The hosts are great and the grounds are lovely. We will definitely be back.

What an absolutely beautiful and romantic getaway! My husband and I had purchased the Romance Package for our first night here, and they personalized it just as they advertised on their website they would. What a cozy, quiet, peaceful place. The owners were personable and communicative before and during our stay, as well. This place is perfect and we would love to stay here again if we travel though Amarillo again. There was also a sweet black kitty with a collar on that I am assuming belongs to the owners who was very sweet and friendly, and would greet us when we got back to the lodge each evening! Perfect stay.
